What we're building
Photobooks, direct from the photographers who made them.
For collectors
Books you won't find in shops
Limited editions and small print runs from independent photographers. Each book has its own page with the edition, the paper and binding, and the story behind the work. When a book sells out, its page stays online as a record of it.
For photographers
Built for the self-published book
A page for each of your books and one for you. You set the price, you send the books from your own studio, and collectors buy from you directly.
The journal
Stories behind the books
Articles on photobooks and the people who make them: how a book came together, the edit and sequence, the paper and the print. The first stories will be about books photographers send us.

- Nothing. There's no fee and nothing to sign.
- Do I have to sell my book on Photobook Commons?
- No. We'll write about your book whether or not you ever sell with us.
- What kind of books are you looking for?
- Photobooks made by independent photographers: self-published, small-run or made with a small publisher. New or long sold out, any edition size, from anywhere.
